About my thesis
I am interested in predicting a protein’s function from its sequence of amino-acids. This problem is motivated by the ever growing amount of available protein sequences (more than 200 millions) that are not yet annotated and could benefit from automatic function prediction. My goal is to develop a model based on explicit dependencies between positions, so that both positional and pairwise coupling informations are used in an interpretable manner. I have just started my thesis for now, but feel free to contact me if needed !
Teaching
L3SIF : Fond1 (automata, context-free grammars, Turing machines, calculability)
L3SIF : MPI (various computer science topics that are usually learned in French CPGE class)
AGREG : (helping students to prepare a very selective French exam to become a computer science teacher)
